Porn Valley – Laurien posts: Many talk of supporting our troops but few have actually done so much for them that they have actually been awarded the highest honor one can achieve for having done so.

At a time where the “Religious Right” are demanding the removal of magazines like Playboy from military bases Taylor has proven how important it is to our troops to have something as small as a scantily clad signed photograph for them to escape to as well as correspondence thanking them for their sacrifice to protect our American way of life. In fact, it’s rather Ironic that this one freedom that means so much to our troops is actually trying to be taken away from them by the people they serve to protect.

In the Seal community, the platoon will sit down and take a vote and decide who will be honored if it’s outside of our immediate families. Usually only family members or other service members are awarded this honor. They had a list of people they wanted to give one to and Taylor’s name was on it along with Kevin Costner and Tiger Woods. After some discussion and voting,Taylor got it.

They went on to say that Taylor probably thought that providing them with “motivational material” wasn’t that big of a deal but it was more than others provided and it was the fact that she said she would do it and she did. In the “Seal Community” your word is everything no matter how insignificant the act. Imagine if you sent home made cookies!

Taylor received the honorary flag encased in a cherry wood frame with inscription etched in glass.

Accompanying the flag was a beautifully framed Flag Citation honoring her as a hero. In Navy Seal terms: One who is recognized for special achievement, courageous acts, or nobility of purpose.

Taylor says: I hardly consider myself a hero for helping support the moral of our troops who are in harms way fighting to help preserve our freedom. The men and women who are sacrificing so much are truly the only heros in my book and not a day goes by without me wishing I could do more to raise the awareness of the American people as to just how important these heroes are in preserving our American way of life.

Of all my life’s accomplishments (which pale in comparison to what the Seals do on a daily basis) I have never been so honored with something that means so much to me personally and I would like to express my sincere gratitude for this award. It is truly a humbling experience. Navy Seals Rock!

Taylor and Laurien shot this 16×20 poster [pictured] that illustrates her in simulated battle wearing authentic Navy Seal combat gear that will be sent to the Seals in appreciation of their award and courage.
