Jay Moyes writes: An odd thought came up with the aleged “Gene Simmons” site, and maybe Michael Fattorosi can shed some light on this. GenesSecret.com isn’t 2257 compliant.
Which raises a number of questions for me. Of course the U.S. State
Department can make moves to help shut the site down, but would they?
Can anyone directly involved with the site be charged with a violation
of 2257?
Despite Taylor’s [Wane] insistence, as a publicist I have to suspect Simmon’s
role to be deliberate. My first thought was that the site was a
publicity stunt. After checking the site out (for research purposes of
course :-), I even suspected it might be a viral marketing stunt with
hidden clues to a mainstream campaign. The fact he’s wearing a t-shirt
and she’s in a corset and garders makes me think they were both
self-concious of being taped. Granted, could Gene Simmons be accused of
being modest?
Just out of curiosity, has anyone paid to watch this? No offense to Kiss
fans, but I ain’t paying to see his love gun.
Best wishes always,
Jay
