From The Gay Porn Times: Following the announcement of the 10th Annual GAYVN Awards this past weekend, Lucas Entertainment CEO Michael Lucas is questioning how some of the trophy winners were decided.

In an open letter circulated to the industry and posted at LucasBlog.com, Mr. Lucas says that although he is happy with his four wins, he is displeased that all of them were for THE INTERN.

“I agree [it] is a great comedy, but it could not be compared or put anywhere close to the same level of GIGOLO.”

Further, he termed some wins “absolutely ridiculous,” such as snagging Best-Renting Title of 2007 for THE INTERN. “I am my own distributor, and I know we sold twice as many of GIGOLO…(m)y accounting is available for that.”
