Atlanta- The flyer advertises a stunning mansion on a golf course with four fireplaces, five bedrooms and plenty of hardwood floors.
Lisa Ann Taylor, also known as former nude model Melissa Wolf, has placed her palatial estate at Sugarloaf Country Club for $1.2 million.
Taylor also became known as the Mansion Madam after her arrest last year on drug and prostitution charges. Taylor was charged with running a high-priced call girl service from the house.
As part of a plea deal in October, Taylor was sentenced to seven years on probation and agreed to a fine of $150,000. If the fine isn’t paid before October 10, Gwinnett County can seize her country club home.
Taylor said Tuesday that outcome is unlikely.
“It’s a good thing I put all that money away all those years ago,” Taylor said. She owns several other properties, including a house in Canada and a condominium worth more than $400,000, Taylor added.
Still, she’s trying to manage a divorce and a legal fight with relatives over her other properties while handling the sale of her home. And she’s looking for work.
Taylor, who held a real estate license before her conviction, had been planning to sell her house last year, she said. The negative publicity would have interfered too much with a sale, Taylor said.
Taylor built the five-and-one-half bath home in the 90’s for about $500,000. At the height of the market last year, it was assessed at more than $1 million by Gwinnett County tax assessors.
Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth is home to some high-profile entertainers and athletes. Her home competes in notoriety with that of another famous neighbor — Michael Vick. His $4.5 million house on Darlington Run on the other side of country club also is for sale.
Darrell Bacon, Taylor’s real estate agent, described her home as “an entertainer’s paradise.”
“As enormous as it is, it’s quite cozy. She’s got it decorated so nicely. There’s plenty of warmth in this thing. You can’t get lost in it, or cold.”
So far, Taylor’s house hasn’t drawn much attention from gawkers looking to sight-see in Taylor’s bedrooms, Bacon said.
“We don’t have any spectators. It’s been rather pleasant,” Bacon said. “We’ve had some offers, but very few people are getting what I would call strong offers. Everyone is looking for a deal.”
