Van Nuys: Long time industry mainstay, Lorraine Weinberg has joined the sales force of Sunshine Films.
She comes to Sunshine after 19 years with Leisure Time. Prior to that Loraine worked at VCA and with Ruby Gottesman, marking her as pioneer in the video/DVD market.
“It’s a big change after so many years at the same company and I’ll miss my co-workers. But I have known Yosef and Rita for years and some of the other members of the staff, so it’s like joining old friends. I’m hoping to be a part of the Sunshine family for a long time,” says Loraine.
Sunshine Films is also home to the Odyssey Group Video and the All Good Video catalogs, and offers nearly 9000 titles.
“We’re very excited to have someone with Lorraine’s background here says Yosef. The Leisure Time and Sunshine lines have a similar customer base, so having her perspective on the customers in today’s market will be a fresh change for us.”
