Porn Valley- Katrina Kraven was a guest on Selena Silver’s KSEX show last Wednesday. Both women have something in common in that they signed for EvolutionErotica- www.evolutionerotica.com – at the AEE show and both star in Guy Capo’s Payback: Evolution of a Gangbang for that company.
Kraven’s originally from upstate New York and an avid Howard Stern listener since eleventh grade. “He pisses me off but that’s part of his shtick,” she said. “He’s got me hooked.” Given Stern’s current state of circumstances Kraven believes that a million listeners would join Stern in a march on the nation’s capitol.
“People are so dedicated to him and with good reason” she says. To that extent, Kent Silver, Selena’s husband, said he was proud of KSEX. “You don’t have the restrictions and the laws and the corporate suits. With KSEX Radio you can say what you want to say, when you want to say it. You can do WHATEVER you want to do and you can watch it.”
Discussing the Janet Jackson incident, Kraven said she wasn’t condemning Jackson though it wasn’t the choice of children to see the boob flash. “But it’s your choice to turn on Howard Stern,” said Kraven. “It’s your choice to watch porn. It’s your choice to do those kinds of things. It’s all about what you choose to do and it’s becoming an issue where we cannot choose any more and it’s really sad.”
Kent Silver noted that in Australia, nudity on TV is fine. “Every country but America has accepted it,” Kraven added. “It’s a part of us. It’s a part of our body. We just have a taboo about us.”
Kent Silver said Australians wonder why Americans are so uptight. “Here’s what I try to explain- the reality in America is that America is a 50-50 country. Half the country is this extreme right wing religious group. And half the country doesn’t agree with them at all. However, everybody that’s in power and the politicians the people voted for have to cater towards this religious side. So we get all these laws and these rules and these things passed which really don’t represent our country. It’s not that all of us are afraid to see breasts on television.”
Kraven said in her household, her father is completely right wing. “I’m not and, obviously, we come to a head on certain issues. It’s a very frustrating situation to be in and it’s coming to a head in America right now.”
Kent Silver said he’s got a friend who’s been a diehard Republican who believes in Big Business, but is also a Howard Stern fan and is going to vote Democrat for the first time in this election because he didn’t agree with the fact that his rights were being taken away from him. Similarly, Kraven says there are some Republican issues she finds rewarding but she also believes in speaking your own mind.
A weekly feature of the show is guessing the stupid sex laws. [Kraven lost and had to get naked.] A recap of some of them discussed on the show in weeks past include a law in Wisconsin that prohibits shooting a gun while having an orgasm.
Another law in Illinois prohibits making love while fishing or hunting on your wedding day. Hotel owners in Hastings, Nebraska are required by law to provide a clean white cotton night shirt to each guest. And, according to the law, no couple may have sex while wearing the night shirt. In the state of Washington there’s a law against having sex with a virgin under any circumstances. Kraven suspected that there was something radically missing in that law.
