Porn Valley- Having partaken on more than one occasion, I ask Robert Interlandi when the Deep Throat energy drink officially arrives in the Los Angeles area.

Interlandi’s the director of marketing for Arrow, www.xxxdeepthroat.com and has these kinds of answers. Before he gets to that, Interlandi mentions how the drink, www.deepthroatenergy.com became the unofficial thirst quencher at the gay pride parade last week in Las Vegas.

“I was passing it out,” laughs Interlandi. “I didn’t have a license or whatever you needed to be in the parade. I just kind of snuck in. I had my whole Deep Throat crew with me passing out drinks. Nobody gave a shit. All the gay people are like sticking cans in their mouths chanting, ‘I love Deep Throat!’”

Hoping for more of the same, Interlandi drives out to Los Angeles and Orange County for promotions all next week at bars.

Tuesday, May 20, the Deep Throat caravan, including the fabled bull ride, makes its way to Baja Sharkeez on 211 Main Street, Huntington Beach between 4 pm and 10 pm. (714) 960-5282

On Thursday, May 22, the promotion will go on at Gallagher’s, 2751 E. Broadway, Long Beach California (562) 856-8000, between 9pm and midnight.

On May 23rd, the next stop is Club 705 on 705 Pier Avenue Hermosa Beach (310) 372-9705 also between 9 pm and midnight.

“I’m starting to get a little promotional tour going on,” continues Interlandi. “It’s something different and crazy.”

“I love meeting the fans,” says Interlandi. “They’re the ones who pay the bills and I don’t care how many of these promotions I have to do. Fans are all that matters. I’ll do anything for them, and that’s the reason I stay on the road so much for these promotions. If any porn people want to show up, I’ll buy ‘em a Deep Throat drink.”

Interlandi hopes very soon to be bringing the promotional tour to Porn Valley- as soon as he can line up some venues.
