Genesis Skye: “I’m young… I’m gonna fuck up… I’m going to try drugs”

Author also of the equally memorable quote, “Metro’s got a whole world of shit piling up at their feet right now,” Genesis Skye celebrates a birthday May 17.

With comments and episodes way more colorful and astounding than that, Genesis Skye, when she graced the adult business, did so with casual dignity, aplomb and an ability to dodge the limelight while privatizing her inner demons.

Even so, many of the jealous persuasion were convinced that Skye, master of disguise and the soundbyte, was either on drugs or other types of hallucinogens. It was even suggested that Skye, much like Allie Ray, may have been a government guinea pig in a lab experiment gone seriously awry.

But nothing could have been further from the truth. Misunderstood is the sum total of reason and logic in any philosophical argument involving Genesis Skye, a woman, who if not for evil marijuana being forced upon her in grueling sets of party circumstances in the seventh grade, could have been in the Bush cabinet.

“I’m not doing the drugs they think I’m doing,” Skye once said.

See? Positive proof from her own mouth.

Often speaking in biblical parables, there was the time Skye told the story about Bridgette Kerkove owing her $400 from a movie Skye did for her. In referencing the story of the wise man and his ass from ancient scripture, Skye attributed the whole matter to the fact that her agent at the time, Joel Lawrence, had no serious capacity for business.

“Joel doesn’t run his agency a 100% to how I think it should be run,” said Skye.

More tangible proof of how Skye could have revolutionized the industry if only she were heard out and taken seriously. When Kerkove didn’t return her phone calls about the short change of $400, Skye, in her no nonsense fashion, was set to put her entire legal team- much like Kevin Rubio, the Count of Monte Ducati- into action.

“It’s my fault that the dude [Trent Tesoro] couldn’t keep wood,” rationalized Genesis, likewise putting a powerful sense of deductive reasoning into play.

“Tesoro’s known for having problems,” added Genesis. “I knew exactly when they said you’re working with Trent. I was, like, fuck, should I go home now? That day was horrible. I got stuck on that set four fucking hours. We ended up finishing off the scene but why did my check get shorted $400? I did anal. I didn’t do g/g. I’m not getting paid for g/g. Cut my check a little bit but don’t cut it $400. Even at that I should get my full rate because it’s not my fault.”

Perhaps it was wishful thinking but rumors would always persist of Skye’s premature retirement – instances she would always attribute to a rascally Luke Ford who incited them.

Then there was the famous incident about Skye’s dog dying and how Skye’s marijuana stash was apparently responsible for it.

“That wasn’t even true,” Skye would say.

More proof of a sinister cabal determined to undermine her?

“My dog did not die,” insisted Genesis.

“People were saying it was like she threw it in a ditch after it od’ed on coke. No, my dog has a respiratory problem and it stopped breathing. My boyfriend gave it CPR and it came back. It was completely fine and my dog has been fine since. It’s a puppy and seven weeks old.

“It just stopped breathing. There was nothing I could do about that. And even if it was fucking od’ing from coke how the fuck is a teacup Chihuahua going to get up on a counter? Think about that. Common sense. God. And my weed is kept in my cupboard which is above my counter. There’s no way that dog would feed on any drugs. I don’t do my drugs… at home, anyway.”

Although she’d strive constantly for Ghandiesque truth, wisdom and spiritual integrity, even Skye could fall from grace. There was the time she tripped out on acid at Sardos and was busted by the paparazzi with a goofy look on her face.

“I won’t do that again,” Genesis swore.

“It was fun but that’s when I started tripping in a bad way. I did it at PSK and you got Luke Ford’s camera in your face. It’s like I wanted to go have fun and you can’t because I have to be afraid of what pictures are going to end up on the Internet the next day.”

On another occasion, Genesis merely misgauged her capacity for drink, and on her 21st birthday was carried feet first out of a Milwaukee drinking establishment.

But comatose behavior wasn’t the point. The story was that Skye had committed to a shoot for Mandy Taylor’s website but found the logistics difficult to negotiate out of the alcoholic stupor which she found herself in.

Was Genesis entirely to blame? Many porn stars have often taken the wrong physical and mental exit ramps on their way to shoots.

Perhaps overreacting a bit, Taylor commented, “I have come to the conclusion Genesis is rude and inconsiderate. And as far as I am concerned our friendship is over. Friends don’t fuck over friends. Oh well I have plenty more…She is most likely partying yes..its her birthday… her 21st.. what she is doing I have no clue. Would love to hear the excuse though.”

And Skye did have a plausible one, explaining that her cell phone wound up at the same bar she did but sat there for another two days after she was carried out.

“How was I supposed to call when I didn’t have my phone?” Skye wondered.

Exactly the point we would make.

“I didn’t have her number,” Skye went on to say. “It was in my phone. All I know is that I got REALLY drunk and ended up losing a whole lotta shit at the bar that night… including my own house keys. I had to call and wake my mom up at 3 am to come and let me in the house.

“I’ve flaked on two shoots in my career,” Skye conceded. “This being the second. So two flakes in three years is pretty good if you ask me. My trip to Wisconsin was a nice vacation though it ended up turning into a mess.”

And then there was the Missy Monroe Whip-Its controversy. Skye and Monroe had been roommates for about six weeks – they were guileless young women trapped by circumstance and only trying to survive in the brutal sex racket.

“She had come to me saying that her and Brett Rockman had lived together,” Monroe related at the time.

“She was looking for somewhere to live so I upgraded to a three bedroom apartment and put her on the lease.”

A stupid move, according to Monroe, because she went out of town to Germany, thinking Skye would be less disposed to partying. And that’s because Skye was getting a boob job and desperately attempting to avoid another cataleptic incident like in Milwaukee. Only Monroe claims Skye was having wild, uninhibited Ecstasy parties, instead.

Upon her return from Germany, Monroe recalled how she woke up one morning looking for a lighter to light her cigarette.

“I’m reaching in my couch cushion, and I feel a bunch of clankety-clanketies,” Monroe recalled. “I’m like what the hell is that?”

According to Monroe, the clankety-clanketies she found were Whip-its. Eight grocery bags full of used Whip-its.

Monroe and Skye had subsequent words with Skye who apparently told Monroe to get out of her own place.

“I’m, like, you’re crazy,” Monroe recalled.

“I’m about to kick her ass and her face screaming at her. She pushed me to that point. She said go ahead and hit me. I stopped right there. I’m like why because you want to call the cops you little psycho bitch.”

Monroe then called Derek at LA Direct who was agent for both her and Genesis:

“Derek, this bitch is telling me to get out of my own house. I’m like freaking out here. You need to do something. You need to come over here, otherwise, I’m going to tear her into pieces.”

With the wisdom of Solomon, Derek told Genesis, “Listen, Missy was here first. This is her place. She’s been here seven months. You’ve been here a month and a half. She’s telling you, you need to get out. You need to get out.”

Missy related how Skye showed up the next day.

“She came back screaming at me, and she’s like telling me that she’s going to call the cops on me. I’m, like, what for? I’m sitting here making a ‘sammich’ and you’re calling me psycho and stuff and you’re not on my lease and you’re telling me you’re calling the cops?”

Skye was then gone.

“The minute she got the last thing out I had the locks changed,” recalls Monroe.

Proof possibly again of the sinister forces determined to undermine Genesis, Mandy Taylor was a witness to the whip-its drama and insists it was Monroe who had flown off the handle while Skye remained her calm, ingratiating self.

“It was a huge clusterfuck,” Taylor would say.

“Missy even involved their agent in this nonsense. So Genesis went down to the leasing office and they gave her, her own apartment. Don’t blame her…. Missy turned into crazy bitch exorcist style…. It was frickin insane.”

Regarding the alleged Whip-its, Ecstasy party, Taylor explained that Skye had a few people over to celebrate the night before she went to get her boobs done.

“All the people in the apartment were people Missy herself knew and were friends with as well,” explained Taylor.

“Hell missy herself before she left was droppin X in her own house…. As for the Whippits…. They were not all over the house. The empty containers were in a plastic bag stored in a DVD cabinet, out of sight out of mind. The house was not trashed and was completely clean when she arrived home.”

“Genesis refused to pay the deposit because Missy’s dog in the six weeks they were there shit and pissed all over the carpets,” continued Taylor.

“The shit bag dog had ruined them. Why fucking pay for something Missy’s dog has already trashed? The dog shits and pisses everywhere.”

Monroe, in making her case, also told a story about how she found Skye in bed with a guy Monroe had been dating.

“Fuckin whore,” growled Monroe describing how Skye had also called the cops on Brett Rockman.

“She called the cops on him because she hit him twice and he flogged her,” recalled Monroe.

“She called the cops and told them she was on Ecstasy. A bunch of shit that I don’t really need. I don’t need somebody in my house doing drugs and calling the cops and telling them that they were doing those drugs.”

“She did so many things and I was like, dude, you suck. I can’t live with you. Then she tried to kick me out. I said, you have to move out. I can’t stand you. If I have to live with you for another day, I’m going to end up beating your ass because you just annoy me to that point.”

“She’s like, well, guess what? I’m not going anywhere. You’ll have to move out if you want to get rid of me. What? I’ve been here for six months. I invite you into my house to live with me and I put you on the lease and now you’re telling me to get the fuck out of my own place? Every bill was in my name. How are you going to tell me to get out of my house?”

“She finally got the rest of her shit out,” according to Monroe’s story.

“I was hanging out in my kitchen making a sandwich for me and a friend. She comes in and says, oh, by the way, if you are going to go calling people telling them our business, don’t go making lies.

“I said, what are you talking about? She’s like, [Slain Wayne] said that you said I threatened you.
“I said, dude, the only thing you threatened me about was getting me out of my house. I threatened to kick your ass. You didn’t threaten to do shit to me.
“I was really mad at her and I almost beat her up.”

Monroe also described Mandy Taylor as “some bitch” she discovered living at her house with Skye.

“I came home from Germany and Genesis has this chick staying at my house, camped out on my couch. And I’m like, no, thank you. Not at my place. Genesis is like bipolar and stuff. Crazy psycho.”

“I met Missy through Brett Rockman,” Skye would later explain in her defense.

“Me and her became friends. I needed to move out. I said, let’s move in together. So we got an apartment. Things were pretty good for a little while. And then she just started talking shit about all my close friends.

“She was so disrespectful. She was telling me that I was irresponsible. I told her that I don’t need a mother. I have one of those already. For somebody younger than me to be treating me like a child is crazy…

“My friend Mandy Taylor came to stay with me. I had my breast implant surgery. Mandy was taking care of me. She took care of Missy’s dog while she was gone. Missy came back. Some people had called her while she was gone saying the apartment was trashed and that we had all these people over and we were doing all these drugs. Somebody was trying to turn us against each other while she was gone.”

“She comes back. We didn’t talk too much. Mandy said we should sit down and talk to each other.

“The whole thing started over a guy she thought I was sleeping with. She wanted to be with him. It’s not even true. He and I have been friends longer than she has even known him.”

“He was sleeping in my bed on the other side of my bed,” Skye explained.

“If she really wanted to know what was going on, she could’ve walked into my room at any point and saw for herself that nothing was going on. She’s just jealous and she needs to grow up.”

“We sat down on the couch and we were having a calm whatever… She starts telling me what she doesn’t like. Next thing I know, she starts screaming that I need to get out of her house.

“It’s not her house. It was ours. We were both on the lease. And she did not kick me out of the apartment. I signed off of the lease.”
