$150 Blowjob Prostie Pleads to Lesser Charge But Must Leave Michigan

TROY — A woman charged with providing a sex act to the husband of a U.S. Senator pled guilty today to a lesser charge of trespassing in the case.

Alycia Martin, 21, of Westland, pled guilty under an agreement under which she will be considered for the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act. The act allows young offenders to clear their criminal record if they successfully complete their term of probation.

Her case will be reviewed by the Troy probation department before she is to return for sentencing in August, her attorney Frank Cusumano Jr. said.

Troy district judge William Bolle also approved a request to permit Martin, who was 20 years old at the time of her February arrest at the Residence Inn in Troy, to leave the state to seek employment.

“It’s necessary for her to leave Michigan in order to start her life over and not return to her previous lifestyle,” Cusumano told Bolle.

The case attracted attention because one of Martin’s alleged clients was Thomas Athans, the husband of U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.). Athans was interviewed by police Feb. 26 after leaving a room in the Residence Inn that was later found to be occupied by Martin. Athans told police he had paid $150 for a sex act.
