GREENVILLE, Tenn — A Kingsport, Tenn. man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to to receiving more than 800 child porn images online.

Jimmy E. Sprague, 62, “has a history of child sexual exploitation,” according to the Tennessee Department of Justice, and was originally under investigation for allegedly violating the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry.

Sprague had also dressed up like Santa Claus at churches, schools, and community centers in the Kingsport area.
