Porn Valley- I talked to the Sports Swami aka Chris Connor Tuesday night. Connor tells me that, in lieu of a regular sponsor, he’s going into his own pocket to feed his show Body Shots and Money Shots. But that doesn’t mean Connor’s not going to be looking or knocking on doors of the adult business to get some backing. Whichever way that wind blows, Connor’s show will be back on the air Friday, April 9.
Connor’s show, which aired 10 am PST on Cyberstation USA, was sponsored by boxing316.com until they elected to pull out. Connor attributes it to financial problems on their part and the fact they weren’t happy with shows being abbreviated- such as what happened several weeks ago when Connor’s station terminated the Ashley Blue interview in mid-sentence then pulled the plug on the one featuring porn star Friday which was to directly follow.
Connor’s not sure yet who will be on the program when it returns to air. “I’ve got to get that organized,” he said. “I’m trying to track down Gauge when she feature dances in Providence. That interview would give me momentum.”
Asked about some of the shows that he’s already taped, Swami said he can’t air those. “Like I had an interview with Taylor Rain but she talks mostly about her marriage with Scott Fayner. But they’re no longer married. But they admitted they had issues.” Swami said he interviewed the couple during the AEE.
“They talked about issues even before they got married. But at least it wasn’t as bad as Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.” In another instance, Swami did an interview with Cytherea that will never see the light of day. “That was an interview we lost on purpose.” According to Swami, Cytherea made some comments about someone she’s worked with, and, upon some afterthought, wanted to re-do the interview. “We had it on tape, she wanted to cut out parts. We say we’ll get rid of the whole damn thing.”
And, regardless of alleged past bad blood with Nicole Moore, Swami said he’d like to do an interview with her. Asked what that bad blood was, Swami claims Moore told him he wasn’t worth responding to and that he was an “asshole” because he had made some remarks critical of Steve Banan. “He basically said I’m right, you’re wrong, I’m Steve Banan and who the hell are you?” Connor said he’d also like to book Lisa the Lesbian on his show
Swami said he also got an impression that AVN was going to be a sponsor of his show but that was a mistaken one. “I found out it was the other way around,” he says. “AVN wants us to advertise in their magazine with a full-page ad.”
