Alabama- Joe Francis can’t buy a break this week. Now two Tuscaloosa teenagers are suing “Girls Gone Wild” producer Francis, claiming that the film crew coerced them into exposing their breasts on video two years ago.

The women are also suing Mantra Films, the company that produced and distributed the video, along with Alabama vendors who sold or rented it. Alabama vendors include Video Zone and Tanning of Tuscaloosa, The Movie Exchange of Birmingham, and Minnesota-based Musicland Inc. that owns Sun Coast Motion Pictures stores in Tuscaloosa and Hoover. Movie Gallery, a Dothan-based company that has video stores in all 50 states is also named in the lawsuit.

The women filed the lawsuit on March 23 in Tuscaloosa County Circuit Court. They were 17 when they appeared in “Girls Gone Wild: Ultimate Spring Break Volume 8.”

The women’s attorney, Clay Rockefellar, said a Bessemer minor featured in a “Girls Gone Wild” video was added to the class action suit Tuesday.

“Those females at the age of 17 are not mature enough to make that decision,” Rockefellar said. “Now they are adults, and they regret it.”

Ronald Guttman, a Los-Angeles-based attorney for “Girls Gone Wild,” said he had not seen the lawsuit and could not comment on it.
