Traci Anna Koval is the woman in the sex tape filmed with Gene Simmons, and though many believe she is the one who released the video, she is saying otherwise.

The intimate tape, which shows KISS front man Simmons having sex on what appears to be Traci’s bed, was released and posted all over the internet earlier this year.

Koval claims she she signed away any rights to the video in 2003. She adds that the backlash that came after was worse than the humiliation of the tape being made public.

She tells Hustler magazine, “I’m the victim. I didn’t try to capitalize on this situation. I’ve lost longtime friends like (director) Michael Bay and (actor) Crispin Glover. I was at one of (rapper) Ja Rule’s houses in Southern California, just chilling with him and his friends, and he freaked out about the Gene Simmons sex tape. He kicked me out of the house.”

She says that she and JaRule have since reconciled.
