Google is not the great research engine it’s often cracked up to be. There’s a lot of blind alleys, triplication of effort, dead ends and expired links encountered in most searches.
I’m trying to come up with more on the lawsuit involving Robin Williams in 1986 when Williams was sued by an ex-girlfriend, a reputed cocktail waitress for $6.2 million. She claimed he infected her with herpes; Williams filed a counter-suit claiming the charges were false and she was trying to extort money from him. The case was settled out of court in 1992 for an undisclosed amount of money.
I hope to find more, but in the meantime I came across this upbeat quote from Rocco regarding herpes:
“Let me tell you a secret,” he says. “In this business everybody has herpes, myself included. Every professional in the porn-world has herpes, male or female. It’s the smallest thing you can get, it’s really nothing serious.”
