Scott Fayner, www.scottfayner.com writes something about a Hustler shoot he was on the other day- an I Love Lucy porn parody, I believe it was. And it looks like Audrey Hollander is starring in it. Which would make sense because Hollander is a redhead.

But I believe the grand I Love Lucy parody has already been done – in 1986 – when Scotty Fox directed Lucy has a Ball which starred Blondi, [pictured] sometimes known as Blondi Bee along with her then psychotic boyfriend Tony Montana [also pictured].

Tony, who led the porn league in death threats one year- issued, not received – has settled down a lot since then, is possibly somewhere still in the business or its periphery; but Blondi has long since gone. Which is a shame, because she was something of a looker that one.

But porn which has a short memory for these things, tried another attempt at a Lucy parody in 1993 by starring Rebecca Bardeaux in I Love Juicy directed by Jourdan Alexander, and Montana has the distinction of being in that one as well.

Do we need another Lucy parody? Who can say, but then, again, some other wiseass ten years from now will probably be including sarcastic references to the Hollander version in his or her treatise about the repetitive nature of porn parodies and the fact that as long as there are redheads, and porn producers with cash and short term memories, there will always be Lucy knockoffs.
