VAN NUYS, CA — Adult studio Pink Visual and VOD giant Yappo announce the launch of Erection2008.com, a new promotional website that showcases irreverent political humor and hilarious videos of porn-stars answering off-color political questions.

“With the upcoming presidential election being first and foremost on the mind of our country, we knew that it was a great opportunity for Pink Visual and Yappo to do something fresh, funny and maybe just a little bit irreverent,” says Kim Kysar, Brand & Product Manager for Pink Visual.

“The whole idea came about as a joke going around the office and then it just skyrocketed,” laughs Kate Sylvan, Marketing Coordinator for PV. “We had everyone in the office submit funny questions we could ask the girls and then we sent the questions off to our producer who did the interviews on set while the girls were in the make-up chair. Their responses to the questions turned out to be priceless!”

Visitors to Erection2008.com can watch the uniquely funny videos, read the Erection Blog, register to vote, and purchase their own “Erection 2008” apparel. There is no nudity on the website or in any of the videos.

“We think Erection 2008 is an idea rife with potential to not only have fun and get the vote out, but also to further brand exposure. On that note, we would like to extend an open invitation for Yappo’s partner studios to submit similar videos for the site.”

As to whether the comedic twist will convert to sales, that has yet to be seen. “We’re just going to ride it out and see where it goes,” says Sylvan. “At the very least it will give everyone a good laugh!”
