The state of the adult industry is as shaky as the market. Speak to any owner of a major adult website and they will tell you the money is just not there or being spent like it used to. There’s many reasons for that and of course one is the economy. The others is that there is no more Jenna, and Tera is getting played out. She is the only true face of a dying industry that now has people in their 30’s and 40’s hanging on because they have no other talent to make a living.
Look at Rude TV and you will see faces that were on internet TV 10 years ago with haircuts trying to stay young and hang in the game. Open AVN magazine and you will see the majority of the ads for amateur websites and DVD’s that are bigger selling than movies that actually have a budget.
The main problem is that people don’t know when to say when. The girls from the industry are hooking on EROS trying to make that last buck because the realization that they don’t have a 401k is sinking in. Click CA & NY and you will see every major girl willing to meet a guy for another $400 with no security and no STD test. It not only is pathetic but its down right scary.
It seems that most in the industry are stuck in a crazy Twilight Zone episode they are locked in a box thinking that only they matter and the whole universe spins around them. There’s no conversations to be had to explain what they could do to get out, how to save money and not put it up your nose and no real person to come up and smack them in the ass and yell “WAKE UP.”
Look at someone like Mary Carey [pictured]. A nice, beautiful girl with a great heart it seems and no leadership or advisor to tell her what to do and truly take care of her. Everyone she is surrounded by according to these blog/news sites seems is looking to make a buck. People who care about her wouldn’t post videos of her hanging out in a bar after being on Celeb Rehab. People who truly care about her wouldn’t let her in the bar or hang out with that element.
I honestly don’t go to the AVN website any longer. I go to my friend Gene Ross’ Adult FYI because I just like to see what is going on and maybe hear some good gossip about someone I know. People in this industry don’t retire….they die. They don’t go out with a blaze of glory…they go out blazing.
Most of the girls are shaking, thin and look like they need shelter like a wet dog. By the end of any “award” weekend they are all hung-over, tweaking and needing a week long sleep to recover. Somehow amazingly they have time to prostitute themselves for that extra 8 ball.
Again, what is scary is that the females who are in the industry who are reading this don’t get it or are in major denial. The guys who are in the industry reading this are laughing because they know its true and don’t care.
Everyone loves each other at the conventions and everyone kisses everyone’s ass. Its all bullshit. Everyone wants to know and be at the best after party, but the problem is is that these shows are becoming an awkward gathering. It’s like going to a wedding and seeing your Aunts and Uncles fucking all over the place. Yes, Aunt Alice looks good with the lights off at 3am while Donna Summers “Last Dance” is playing, but the minute the lights pop on you cover your eyes and run for the hills because you cant believe what it really looks like now.
If you look closely at some of the girls you can see the track marks up their arms, the red noses and the bloodshot eyes. Their vaginas are now looking like 2 chicken cutlets flapping in the wind after being pounded by 10 huge black cocks and their knees are as worn out as the mats on your 75 Chevy.
There should be a test after they hit 30. If you’re a guy past 30 you should just go home and realize no one wants to watch you. Go get a real job.
