Tampa, Florida Tony Batman, www.tonybatman.com writes: – The time has come again for the annual Nightmoves magazine awards, which are held in Tamp Florida which by strange chance is the same city that the magazine is distributed in every strip club and adult toy shop you can find in the area.

This is the 16th year for the awards which are pre empted by what I guess is called the show, where the groups of stars go to appearances at local clubs, this was formally called the caravan of stars, and has consisted of the likes of Jenna Jameson in some of her first years, Gina Lynn when she was just breaking away from her position as dancer at Big Al’s Cabaret in Reading, PA, I remember one year seeing Peter North standing there all by himself and Serenity being a big part of the show. Ron Jeremy, well Ron has been there from the beginning as he has been for so many different shows and awards.

This year we are flying in separate groups, one on Thursday one on Friday, We are not sure why the opening party only consisted of half of the show, and I really can’t tell you how it went because I am in the group that was coming in tomorrow, or later. I think the Wicked Pictures people had a good time, but I can’t really tell you because I was not there.

We are actually on the plane as I begin this three day report from my former home town, yes I said three days, back in the day before the stock market was dipping 700 points a day, before the Tampa Bay Rays were vying for the World Series, it was five days long.

The best part for all the stars, that were flown in from all over the country, besides meeting the adult industry fans in Tampa Florida of course, was the annual pool party put on at Paul and Tracy’s house.

This is the day that you ate, drank, had some fun, relaxed, had sex with strange women in their bed (if your Ron Jeremy), and then went back to the hotel to prepare to go home. Anyway we are going to land soon and this is how the day and show has begun for our Nightmoves experience for 2008. It was 1999 I think that I won my first Nightmoves award for the DJ/Emcee of the year.

The plane lands and we are all ready to get off now; I’m in a group with Veronica Rayne, Jack Vegas, Zoe Britton, Monstar, Alexis Texas, Mr. Pete, and Trina Michaels. The flight attendant asks me if we are in a rock band or something, I am so tired I can’t even come up with a quick witty remark; I just say we are entertainers. The only sleep I have had in two days was sitting upright in my oh so comfortable airplane chair. Yep we live like Rock Star’s Every Day and our money’s for free.

Paul and a caravan of Nightmoves people meet us at the Tampa International Airport, we have arrived. Paul as always meets us with a smile and a hug
