Florida- Like the Beverly Hillbillies, Craig Valentine’s loaded up his truck and is moving to California.
I talked to Valentine who’s on the road and expects to arrive in town on Thursday. Valentine, who shot for years in Florida, had been telling me for months that the sunshine state was dead as far as the porn industry is concerned; and, besides, Valentine needed to relocate his NRPW wrestling to be where the action is.
Also loaded in the truck are ten years of 2257’s along with other important records to his company, he says.
Valentine who’s scheduled to be in San Francisco for the Exotic Erotic Ball, was at the IVD Open House in Jersey and just flew back from Venus Berlin which he attended with IVD.
“That show went really, really good,” says Valentine. “That show’s the way AVN used to be. You don’t go through the hall Saturday after 2 o’clock because you’re not getting through. They don’t have a larger exhibition center but they need to. You can’t fit that many people in a building.
“Last year was busy. This year was busier. As soon as the Digital Playground girls showed up it looked like a madhouse. These people were just so happy and excited, it was nice.”
While in Berlin, Valentine also ran into Steve from Magnus, www.magnusxxx.com which brings back the recent memories of Rob Spallone stepping into the middle of a money dispute www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=29621 between Valentine and Steve.
According to Valentine, he and Steve had a sit down and managed to resolve issues.
“The person who was running his printing company is no longer with the company,” explains Valentine. “It came down to the fact that he wasn’t doing his job. But Steve and I are all square. When other people got involved is when the whole mess started.”
Valentine’s next NRPW wrestling show is scheduled for November 29.
“And we’re allowing kids into the show,” Valentine stresses. “All ages. I’m not selling pornography, and nobody’s getting nude there, and there’s no sexual situations. It’s okay for kids to see someone get their heads split open but if they see a boobie we get in trouble.”
