Things have been crazy, but I’m back to show everyone who may not know, a quick online web scam that Adult Friend Finder seems to be pulling across the internet. For those of you again that dont know, this has been going on a real long time.

Here’s the scam…

You: “Hello”

AFF: “Hi this is ( fill in any name of any AFF affiliate manager here ). We just saw you site and love it. We would love to advertise on it and think we can both make alot of money. How much is it to advertise on your site?”

You: ( Say any amount. $1000 to a $1000000 a month…it doesn’t matter )

AFF: No problem, but lets test the traffic first for a month to see how good it is. If it works we have no problem signing a long term deal.

You: No thank you. Thats way to long to “test”

AFF: OK how about we test it for just 1-2 weeks then. Sign up as an affiliate this way you can make a ton of money while we test it out.

And that’s how it works. After two weeks no matter what the amount of money was made, they say you are better off if you just continue as an affiliate with them. If you say “no” then they still got two free weeks of advertising on your site and anyone who signed up they keep 100% of.

Let me analyze this for you real quick…..

* “We just saw you site and love it”. Saying “we” puts in your mind that a big huge company like AFF is interested in YOU.

* “If it works we have no problem signing a long term deal.” GREED. They make you think and see big bucks ahead.

* “Sign up as an affiliate this way you can make a ton of money while we test it out.” They assume the close and by saying “we” again they make it seem as if you are now a team.

It’s Bullshitting 101 and it works with many many small companies. Be very careful when dealing with companies like this!
