Los Angeles– Famed sexual revolution porn star in the lesbian and queer porn world and director for Abigail Production’s Lesbian Life series, Madison Young will appear on a panel of speakers at prestigious ivy league university UC Berkeley’s Fem Sex Class on Thursday, November 20th from 3-5pm.

Human Sexuality for the 21st century and ten years strong at UC Berkeley, the Fem Sex class is open to both men and women and enrolls over 100 students each semester. The class stresses empowerment and self-exploration and covers anatomy, physiology, portrayals of women’s body image, health, menstruation, safe sex, contraception, STI’s, reproductive choices, sexuality, partner sex, communication, open relationships, masturbation, orgasms, pornography, erotica, violence against women and more.

Students are given a take home speculum and a mirror, according to one self-exploration assignment, to help one find their cervix, or someone else’s. The course is facilitated, in lieu of being taught in a typical hierarchal fashion and upon completion, interested students have the opportunity to facilitate the course later in their tenure at the school.

Guest speakers invited to address the Fem Sex class include local sex workers, strippers, abortion counselors, midwives, herbalists, porn stars, activists and other industry educators. Due to the success of this class at Berkeley other highly regarded institutions have added this class to their elective offerings, including Stanford.
