[citizenlink.com]- When law-enforcement officials refused to crack down on a sex shop in Clarksville, Ind., a pro-family group decided to take action.
Reclaim our Culture Kentuckiana (ROCK) recently put up a billboard outside Theatair X, which is just north of Louisville. The billboard features a young family and the message: “No Place for Illegal Porn.” It encourages concerned citizens to call law-enforcement officials and respectfully ask them to enforce the laws governing pornography.
Bryan Wickens, president of ROCK, said he gave local officials a chance to solve the problem before the billboard went up.
“However, in this instance, we met resistance unlike any we have ever encountered from the public officials who could do something to protect our children, families and community,” he told CitizenLink. “This billboard is just one part of our strategy to give citizens a tool to use to be part of the solution.”
