Dope of the Week Nominees … Christopher Michael Nicklis [teacher sends picture of his cock to a 15 year old girl’s cell phone] … Evan Seinfeld and Tera Patrick
This weeks Jack Venice Dope of the Week award goes to … Evan Seinfeld and Tera Patrick
It would appear that this lovely couple sure isn’t short on ego and may just be a little delusional. Take this quote from Mr. Patrick: “Tera Patrick shines a big light that everybody gets to bask in.”
If she’s paying my bills I guess I’d say the same thing.
Now about this gem from Ms. Patrick: “I get recognized everywhere. It doesn’t matter if I’m in Summerlin or Antarctica,” she said with a big smile. “The last Eskimo on earth knows who I am.”
That Eskimo may know who you are, my dear, but I bet he also has a poster of a pregnant Jenna Jameson on his igloo wall.
This week’s Media Whore Award Nominees are … Genevieve Gallen [Verne Troyer’s ex] … and the Vaudeville team of Flynt & Francis starring in the $5billion gov bailout [Larry would like you all to go out of business, by the way.]
At the start of the week, it sure looked like Gallen had the award locked up. In an attempt by this former Playboy model to rev up interest in her floundering career, Verne Troyer’s ex claimed that little Verne was a sex addict. The world is a better place knowing that bit of information.
But, no. This week’s winners are Larry Flynt and his current towel boy, Joe “You are 18, right?” Francis. Larry and Little Joe said that since the government is in the bailout mood, the adult industry sure could use a $5 billion bailout. This cockamamie story spread like wildfire in the mainstream press and even picked up the half-hearted endorsement from Rush Limbaugh.
Larry and his lapdog will never see anything close to a $5 billion bailout. But the genius of this little joke was that Larry received about $1 million worth of FREE ADVERTISING in the mainstream media.
Here is my little theory about this story: Larry never really seriously wanted a $5 billion bailout. No, in fact, as a smart business man, he actually hopes that every adult company would actually go out of business so he could monopolize the industry. Brilliant example of reverse sociology.
This week’s Norman Einstein Award nominees are … Paul Fishbein … Jenna Haze
The winners of the Norman Einstein Award are … Paul Fishbein and Jenna Haze
Fishbein shares the award this week for this quote: “This [AVN Awards] is treated with the same seriousness as the Academy Awards.”
Really, Paul? Let’s do a little comparison shopping, shall we? First, the AVN awards are voted on by about 50 people [editors & freelance writers]. All of which are on the AVN payroll. Also, AVN is a trade magazine which sells advertising to companies that end up winning AVN awards. Nice. Paul must have studied business at the feet of the governor of Illinois.
Meanwhile, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has about 6,000 voting members that work in all levels of the movie making industry [actors, producers, directors, writers, Indian chiefs, etc.].
In reality, the AVN awards should really be compared with the Golden Globe awards. Those awards are given out by the foreign press that covers Hollywood. Ask any movie actor: What award would you want to win, an Oscar or a Golden Globe? I’m betting on Oscar.
Jenna Haze shares the award for this lovely quote concerning the AVN awards: “We are appreciated and awarded by our peers for what we have done that year.”
Jenna, unless you are on the staff of AVN [she may have ended up on someone’s staff], the people giving out the awards are not your peers.

> From AEE: Max Hardcore Begs Feds to Go to Vegas – Paul Little, also known as Max Hardcore, has been ordered to report to a federal prison in Los Angeles on Jan. 29 to begin serving a 46-month prison sentence he received in federal court here in October.
His attorneys filed a motion today asking that he be given permission to drive to the Adult Entertainment Expo, starting tomorrow and running until Sunday. The motion describes the expo as the annual trade show for the adult entertainment industry, which Little has attended for the past 15 years.
“The defendant is need to so to complete transactions with other members of the adult entertainment business that would allow him to have the financial ability and arrangements to pay the $75,000.00 corporate fine and to otherwise secure his financial matters while he is away serving his sentence,” the motion states.

But one product emerged as the simplest signal of the economy’s effect on the adult market: Beer Lube, a brand-new product in the crowded personal lubricant market, is just what it sounds like – lube that looks and tastes like beer. The water-based, non-alcoholic lube is available in six-packs with different labels, including Hinie-Can and Whore’s Light.

> Francis Koenig- a Ponzi Scheme? – Crocodile writes on www.xxxporntalk.com: Francis Koenig, manager of hedge fund AdultVest, tells The Atlantic Monthly his hedge fund returned 50% last year by investing in porn-related assets, both public and private. The story fits with the common perception that sin and sex sell in any environment.
We asked Koenig what, exactly, he’s been investing in that’s bucked the trend, but he was unwilling to go into much detail. He noted AdultVest bought some porn domain names, which have been appraised at higher values, but which haven’t been sold. He also mentioned AdultVest’s stake in iPorn — a startup doing porn for the iPhone. But iPorn hasn’t launched yet so any value is going to be difficult to determine.
Coke Stevenson writes on XPT:If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Frances Koenig doesn’t know anything that his competitors don’t know. In fact he knows a lot less. If this is a Ponzi scheme or something shady, he was incredibly stupid to claim a 50% gain. As if no one would notice. We should hear after people try to withdraw funds.
Money laundering is a possibility. More likely Koenig started losing money but wanted to keep the lifestyle/successful image going, so he started lying on paper and doing the ponzi thing with new investors. If this is where all the successful porn scumbags have put their money, it could devastate the industry.
Sean: Thanks for pointing out the obvious, boys.
