[www.pwnewsnow.com]- More details are emerging in the death of former WWE wrestler Andrew “Test” Martin.

Police believe that Martin passed away on March 12 — not March 13 — which is a day earlier than previous reported. His neighbor, Amy Patterson, was able to see clearly into his dwelling from the balcony of her third floor condo at the Harbor Island Apartments, an upper-class housing complex on the Tampa waterfront.

In a previous report she noted that he was laying in an awkward position. “His feet were flat on the ground and he was on the sofa, and he was completely back,” Patterson said in an interview. However, she wouldn’t call the police until the following day after she noticed that he had not moved.

“I kept thinking, `I hope he gets up,’ because I could tell he was young and I thought, `I hope he’s okay.’ But I just knew in my heart he just wasn’t,” she said.

Police had to use a ladder to get to Martin’s balcony where they would eventually gain entry through an open window around 8:00 pm on March 13. It was there that they found Martin deceased in the exact position Patterson had described earlier.

Police found no signs of foul play at the scene and noted that Martin likely passed away while eating dinner on the night of March 12. A half eaten pizza and a glass of soda were found near his body.

Tampa police also found a large quantity of prescription pain killers and numerous types of steriods in both his kitchen and his bathroom. Also found on his body was a Blockbuster Video card with the name Barbara Blank on it. Blank is WWE Diva Kelly Kelly who was a girlfriend of Martin’s dating back to their time together in the relaunch of ECW.

According to Blank the couple broke up in January, but had remained close friends. During an interview on the Bubba the Love Sponge satellite radio program she stated that the relationship had become strained due to her demanding travel schedule with WWE.

Blank wrote a brief tribute to Martin the day after he died on her MySpace page.

“You were my world, my best friend, the one I always ran to. U were always there for me. What happened to our plan? Why did god take you away from me? My heart is always with u and u only. I know you’re in heaven watching over me now, my angel,” she wrote.

Autopsy and toxicology reports for the former WWE and TNA wrestler are pending and won’t be back for several more weeks.
