CHATSWORTH, CA – Breaking boundaries with the mainstream media attention it has received, “Scrubs – A XXX Parody” continues its crossover streak and announces it is the first adult film to receive coverage in top online Men’s magazine CraveOnline. This destination for everything that men crave has posted a two page re-cap and video footage of their visit to the set of the highly anticipated adult spoof.

Jeremy Azevedo, Senior Content Producer for CraveOnline, explains why they chose to cover “Scrubs – A XXX Parody”: “It is a good fit for our audience, mostly because the only thing our readers like better than comedy is a nice pair of roundies. So this is sort of the best of both worlds. Our audience is mostly male, but we have quite a few female readers as well. That the film is a spoof of a popular TV show makes it more accessible than your typical hardcore fare, and I think that’s why you are seeing a lot of mainstream coverage over it.”

CraveOnline has produced a double installment of their “Scrubs” parody coverage, the first of which has been released on their site and contains exclusive interviews with cast members Ashlynn Brooke and James Deen including some behind the scenes antics with medical equipment.

“These guys were great to have on set with us,” says Ashlynn who plays the blonde doctor Ellie in the movie. “They added an element of sarcastic, slap-stick humor that had us all laughing plus it was just fun to play around with them since it was their first time on an adult set.”

How did Azevedo feel about his first visit to a porn set? “The script was remarkably well written, the set itself was incredible and the cast and crew were a hell of a lot more friendly and professional than most you would find on a more traditional movie set. I learned a new word (Paralogia) had a wheelchair race with a pornstar and learned about the possible benefits of priapism. Good times!”

Part two of the on-set coverage will be available for viewing next month on their website and includes interviews with cast members Tori Black and Jack Lawrence.

“Scrubs – A XXX Parody” will be released May 18, 2009 and stars Ashlynn Brooke as Ellie, James Deen as DJ, Thea Marie as Marla, Shane Diesel as Dirk, Jack Lawrence as Berry, Ralph Long as the Janitor and Kris Slater as Todd. Also featured are Joanna Angel, Alexis Texas, Tori Black and Missy Stone.
