GRESHAM, Ore. – www.salem-news.com – Gresham Police Department recently completed a five-month investigation involving the sexual abuse of minors that led to the arrest of a Gresham woman.
30-year old Jennifer Lynn Wills was arrested April 8th and charged with six counts of Sex Abuse, three counts of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor, three counts of Delivery of Marijuana to a Minor and an additional three counts of Delivery of Alcohol to a Minor.
Wills was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center on $137,500.00 bail.
Detective Don Gibson with Gresham Police is the lead investigator in the case. He said Ms. Wills befriended and preyed on fifteen to seventeen year-old boys and girls.
“Wills provided alcohol and Marijuana to the victims, and later sexually abused them.”
He continued, “Gresham Police were first alerted to these crimes when two victims of Ms. Well’s came forward describing her practice of giving drugs and alcohol not only to them but other juveniles as well. Sex from the victims was later either expected or demanded by Ms. Wells.”
Gibson says five victims have been identified so far, however Detective Gibson believes there are many additional victims. According to Gibson, young runaways visited and often stayed Ms. Well’s apartment which is located at 3500 NE 17th in Gresham.
Jennifer Lynn Wills was was born 1/16/1979, has reportedly been a Gresham Resident for the last two years. Prior to that, she resided in SW Portland.
Gibson reports that Jennifer Wills is limited to a wheel chair due to an earlier motor vehicle accident.
“Wills does not have a Medicinal Marijuana card and is not prescribed Marijuana for her condition. She does have other medications prescribed but these meds are not a focus of the investigation at this time.”
He says the criminal investigation is still on-going.
