LAS VEGAS — An official at Wynn Las Vegas says performer Danny Gans is dead at 52.

Hotel spokeswoman Jennifer Dunne says Gans died early this morning at home in Las Vegas.

Dunne calls the death sudden. She says she doesn’t know details yet about how or why Gans died.

Gans was a singer, comedian, actor and impressionist who performed for many years at The Mirage before moving to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas in February.
