From www.mrv.com- With the new Steven Soderbergh picture, “The Girlfriend Experience,” porn star Sasha Grey is making a bid for mainstream movie stardom. As she makes the crossover, though, she shared her thoughts with MTV News about who she’d like to see make the leap from conventional Hollywood fare to hardcore adult film.
High on her list is “Twilight” vampire and MTV favorite Robert Pattinson. “He’s not bad,” Grey said with a sly smile. “There’s something about him.”
Pattinson is no stranger to on-camera nudity. In his upcoming Salvador Dalí pic, “Little Ashes,” the British actor had to perform, as he called it in a recent interview with GQ magazine, “an extremely hard-core sex scene.”
For a while we were wondering where Pattinson would land after the success of “Twilight” made him a household name. Last week came word that he’s been tapped to play the lead in the romantic drama, “Remember Me.” So, at least for the moment, Sasha Grey and Pattinson’s legions of devoted fans will have to wait for his schedule to free up just a bit. Don’t keep your fingers cross forever, okay?
Grey also has her eye on Edward Norton for a spin in the adult world. While Norton hasn’t been afraid to take his clothes off in the past, his frightening nude scene in “American History X”—in which he’s gang-raped in a prison shower—is hardly the sort of stuff that might make the man eager to try out porn. Not that anything might make the two-time Oscar nominee eager to try out porn. But what Sasha demands, we must investigate!
Lastly, Grey hoped for some Kurt Russell adult action because of a film that came out seven years before she was born: “Escape from New York.” “An oldie but a goodie,” she says of Russell’s character Snake Plissken, an eye-patched ex-Army Lieutenant and notorious criminal who must rescue the President of the United States from a dystopian version of Manhattan.
The movie offers for Russell aren’t exactly pouring in these days, and when they do, he might not be accepting them: rumor has it that he turned down a roll in Sylvester Stallone’s action flick, “The Expendables.” So listen, Kurt: maybe you should hop on Sasha’s idea. Heck, talk to her people: she might even be willing to lend a helping hand.
