Philadelphia- www.kyw1060.com- The mother half of an alleged mother-daughter prostitution team in Philadelphia has now withdrawn her guilty plea and will go to trial next month.

The pair had allegedly solicited for business on the Internet web site Craigslist.com. Traci Young, 39, had pleaded guilty and her 22-year-old daughter Tami Smith pleaded no contest.

But as Young (pictured) was about to be sentenced on Thursday, she contested the alleged facts, saying she was upstairs and never heard anything about sexual services.

Prosecutor Michael J. Bonner:

“The allegations that she initially pled guilty to involved the Internet solicitation to the undercover vice officer. The officer came to her house, she greeted him, brought him into the house. And I believe what she is now contesting is that she was not present when the solicitation was allegedly made by her daughter.”

So she’ll go to trial on June 30th. Her daughter is scheduled to be sentence June 2nd.
