Florida- www.cbs12.com- Instead of teaching in the classroom, 29-year-old Geneva Henry was learning in the courtroom Thursday about the charges against her.
The former Jupiter Christian School is accused of sending sexual text messages to a 14-year-old student.
Among the alleged messages: “I want to rip all of your clothes off and have sex with you to the point of ecstasy”, “I want to kiss you all over”, and “I want to have sex with you.”
Accusations that are tough to take if you are the woman’s husband.
But Matthew Henry sat in court anyway as his wife of 8 years stood before a judge.
Leaving court, he expressed support for the mother of his 3 children.
“These are merely allegations and I’m in full support of my wife. I look forward to this being resolved,” he said.
The woman’s attorney Heidi Perlet told The Palm Beach Post that the English teacher, who quit the school after the allegations surfaced, is bi-polar.
The student was never sexually touched.
“The allegations are that there was some innapropriate text messaging. It appears there may have been a crush by the student on my client,” she added.
Henry was released on $5,000 bond.
She could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
