Gene: What was it about the business that you missed and what was it you didn’t miss?

MA: Honestly being on set, being around people that are great and fun to work with. You can talk how you want and act how you want. You can be how you want and feel comfortable. Now that I’m comfortable with that and have come back, and I know this is the job I want, it makes it easier for me. It’s really hard to make it a part of your life, make a commitment. I’m not in a relationship. I’m single. And to know that I’m going to be single because I don’t want to mess up my personal life. It’s a hard thing to commit yourself to being single, to commit yourself to not being in love, to know that’s a long-term goal. That can be hard. But I’ve been doing it for a couple of years.

Gene: So you’re voiding relationships at all costs.

MA: I am. It’s just not worth it. I don’t wan to mix. I’ve put too much time in to putting a couple years aside to make movies. But I’m happy with that. I missed being on set. I missed being happy and comfortable and casual. Some people indulge in it in their personal life, sating a lot of people. I get that at work. So I will not be in a relationship when I’m working. There’s no way I’ll ever be in a relationship when I’m working. I would flirt on camera but, otherwise, it’s too hard.

Gene: How long have you been in he business.

MA: A little over three years.

Gene: And no porno relationships to speak of.

MA: No porno relationships.

Gene: No porno relationships drama.

My mind was in other places but now that I’m a little more grounded, I love to be funny. I keep myself laughing all the time.
