from www.manolith.com – In a story I find shocking and appalling, SHOCKING AND APPALLING, anti-videogame crusader Jack Thompson is suing Facebook for $120 million dollars.

You may not know the man, who is a disbarred lawyer from Florida, but he hates your videogames. He thinks the kids are being ruined by the violent images and the rap music and the Howard Stern and the Counterstrike playing in the internet cafés. He’s filed multiple lawsuits against their manufacturers, but alas, nothing has stuck. But the kids have caught onto this, and formed multiple Facebook groups decrying how much he sucks. This has caused Jackie distress to the tune of 120 million dollars, apparently.

Jack blames Facebook for his house being shot at, his car being vandalized, and loads of sextoys being sent to his home address. In addition, he gets harassing phone-calls at all hours. Goddamn, I love it when somebody messes with some nerd’s buzz. Hell has no fury like the internet’s anonymity. Back in my youth, I remember sending boxes of free sanitary napkins to Bill O’ Reilly’s home in New York. Those were the days.

If everybody who moralizes had a load of giant rubber fists sent to their doorsteps, I think this world would be a much better place. Just my opinion. Facebook is fighting the suit and I dunno guys, I have a hunch they’ll be fine.
