The post-coitus info comes from a recent Gadgetology study by consumer electronics shopping site, Retrevo.com. The study asked over 750 individuals online about their social networking usage.

Survey says: at least 36 percent of respondents use Twitter or Facebook to tell all their friends about their time between the sheets.

So, they basically kiss and tell everybody.

Other factoids: per Retrevo’s study, 27 percent of the under-35 set check Facebook more than 10 times a day.

Ten times?! How could they have time to do anything else?

65 percent Tweet or check Facebook while they’re on vacation, 64 percent update their statuses at work and 40 percent are reading and texting while driving.

Nearly 35 percent of those born after 1974 admitted to checking up on their “friends” during a romantic rendezvous. Of course, you may not even notice if you’re tweeting over tapas as well.

Needless to say, the numbers for those over 35 don’t even come close. That’s likely because a whopping 81 percent of the older set prefer to check their social media from their desktop or laptop computer. Meanwhile, the youngins keep their Internet with them everywhere they go, and nearly half of them prefer logging in via their cell phone or other mobile device.

So after you poke her on Facebook, be sure to ask “Was it #good for @you?” on Twitter.
