BURBANK, CA – Another full house at Porn Star Karaoke [www.PSKclub.com] Tuesday night at Sardos Bar in Burbank. The recently revamped weekly adult industry party was again a blast and with the help of Crown Royal giving $2 off all drinks, porn personalities saved a few bucks as well.
The night had may of the usual suspects hanging out and a lot of the same bad singing. As Master of Ceremonies, Wankus kept the flow moving and even had the help of a DJ running the equipment for him so he could do what he does best–schmooze. The limbo contest was fun once again and like last week, Gauge won it all. There was another love song/slow dance where Wankus paired single men with porn stars for a romantic dance while Konnie from DVSX.com sang a romantic ditty.
Seen at the event were adult stars Selena Silver, Craven Moorehead, Echo, Gauge, Kendra Jade, Lexi Lamoure, Dick Smothers Jr., Mr. Marcus, Kurt Lockwood, Michelle Lay, AriaXXX, T-Real, Billy Banks, Keiko, Rob Longshot and Dale Dabone, just to name a few.
There was a surprising amount of female attendees who were not involved in the adult business, but adorable all the same and no strangers to dressing scantily clad and appreciating smut. When Wankus announced some Adam & Eve porn DVD giveaways, the majority of mainstream females in the room nearly charged the stage for their own copies.
Upon Dabone’s arrival, club owner Seymour Satin and in house karaoke host, “Giovanni” were out front. According to Satin and Gio, Dabone walked up and asked, “Do you know who I am?” When they both acknowledged they didn’t, Dabone responded, “I’m Dale Dabone…the most popular male talent out there.”
Being polite, Gio said, “oh, okay, I’ve seen your movies.” [In actuality, he hadn’t.]
Gio said Dabone then asked, “Is it crowded inside?”
When told that it was Dabone was reported to say, “good…I only sing to a packed house.”
And sing he did. Not bad, not great. He spent more time talking to the audience trying to bring them in with his charm. It didn’t seem like too many people gave a shit either way.
Following Debone’s song, Wankus asked the crowd to cheer for “Dale Dabone…the most popular male talent [Pause] …according to him!”
