DENVER – Fresh sperm and semen from a second man reportedly were found in tests done on Kobe Bryant’s accuser [Kate Faber], possibly proving she had sex soon after she encountered the NBA star.
The potential bombshell comes from the rape kit a crime lab did on fluids recovered from the 19-year-old accuser’s body after she told cops Bryant raped her last summer, MSNBC reported.
The DNA evidence could be introduced today when Bryant will be back in an Eagle, Colo., court for a pretrial hearing, the report said.
Bryant’s lawyer suggested in a prior hearing the woman had sex within 15 hours after she said she was raped. She denied it, and the report, if true, would be a blow to her credibility. Prosecutors contended the extra DNA came from soiled underwear, not from inside her body.
Bryant says he had consensual sex with the woman.
