Hollywood, CA- The music theme-song of the popular television series MASH might be called Suicide is Painless but porn parody kings X-Play and director Will Ryder plan to ‘kill it’ when they begin production of their latest classic TV spoof Not Mash XXX.
“All I can say is that the nurses of the 4077th better beware,” joked Ryder from his offices high above Hollywood & Vine.
The target for the Hollywood based production house is the popular television show MASH which ran on CBS from 1972 until 1983 and culminated with the biggest television audience ever during its final episode.
Engaging characters such as Hawkeye Pierce, Hot Lips Houlihan, Colonel Henry Blake, Radar O’Reilly, Father Mulcahy, Frank Burns and a tent-full of gorgeous sexy nurses will be easy targets for the award-winning team of X-Play, Sitcums.com and Will Ryder.
Following in the footsteps of their other parody hits including Not the Bradys XXX, Not Bewitched XXX, Not the Cosbys XXX, Not Married with Children XXX, Not Three’s Company XXX, Not Airplane XXX: Flight Attendants and the upcoming mega-release Not Charlie’s Angels XXX, Not Mash XXX will be the first movie directed by Will Ryder in a tent.
“I’ve worked in studios, in houses, on boats aboard airplanes but never in a tent.
“Tents were big on MASH and we have them in all sizes so it’s safe to say that you’ll see beautiful women doing some very dirty things in those tents,” Ryder said with a smile.
X-Play will stick to their formula of picture-perfect parody and focus on the sophomoric adventures of the US Army surgeons that were stuck in the middle of the Korean War drinking and thinking about sex twenty-four hours a day when they of course were not engaged in bloody meatball surgery.
“This is one of the greatest television shows that continues to live on in reruns and we’re going to do this justice,” stated co-producer Scott David.
After winning numerous awards including the 2010 AVN Award for Best Parody, Best Comedy and Director of the Year, Ryder and David are certain this movie will be a hit and so is their aggressive sales team at LFP led by David ‘The Crusher’ Diamond.
“When I first heard that these guys were going to spoof MASH I was really excited because this is the type of porn movie that will find a really big audience,” remarked Diamond VP of sales at Hustler and LFP.
“Plus you just know it will be a top-notch production because everything these guys do is fantastic.”
Not Mash XXX will be in stores later this spring and X-Play’s next movie to hit stores is the highly anticipated sequel Not Married with Children XXX 2 March 23rd from X-Play/LFP Video.
