The Stockroom, Inc., the leading marketer of fetish gear and fashion, has named Lucy Vonne D’Olimpio to the post of marketing coordinator. She will be based at the company’s Los Angeles headquarters.

Ms. D’Olimpio has extensive knowledge of the adult business both from her experience as a buyer and educator at The Pleasure Chest’s New York location, and from her work with adult news and humor site Popporn.com (http://popporn.com), where she wrote a column and did on-camera interviews with adult performers.

She is also the founder of the fast-growing www.SexyBlogTime.com, which features reviews and interviews about adult products.

“As a successful sex and sexuality blogger, Lucy has a valuable self-taught familiarity with the online segment of our industry that’s enhanced by her background as a brick-and-mortar executive,” said Stockroom president Mike Herman.

“Her natural affinity for our products, her understanding of our consumer base, and her aptitude for generating traffic will help us develop existing and new company initiatives.”

Ms. D’Olimpio’s background also includes working in television production at the Oil Factory in Los Angeles. She is a cum laude graduate of Boston’s Emerson College, where she majored in TV and video production.
