Think about it. Steve Driver murdered a fellow porn actor at Ultima Studios in Van Nuys on a Tuesday night and severely wounded several others. He fled the scene.

There’s an APB put out on him. The cops knew what kind of car he was driving. They knew his license plate number. It was all over the Internet. His face, like a Cyber wanted poster, was plastered everywhere. If Driver had bank accounts or credit cards, he was denied access to them.

In other words, Driver was really fucked for money and a place to sleep. The cops catch up with him on a Saturday morning. So between Tuesday and then, Driver had to have had some place to lay his head. But where? That’s an answer that hasn’t been provided as yet by the LAPD.

Curiously, Driver winds up in a West Hills neighborhood in the 8800 block of Azul Drive. He did not go far out of the area which means someone familiar to him, helped.

Otherwise, are we to believe that Driver just drove around like a chicken with its head cut off for three days and nights and wasn’t apprehended with the whole world watching? One guess might be, he switched cars. If so, he had an accomplice. But Driver also had to sleep and eat. Or was he up that entire time, wired, living on adrenalin? Someone told me he was a crystal meth head. That I don’t know.

And what led Driver to that neighborhood? Chance? Get serious. Driver had to go somewhere where he thought he could lay low. If so, he had an accomplice. Someone fed him. I’m sure he didn’t go three days without eating.

It’s really hard to believe that fate just perched Driver on a rock in that enclave for an 8 hour standoff with the cops. News reports said that someone in the neighborhood recognized Driver and the car and called 911. So Driver still had his car but, one would assume, it had been out of sight between Tuesday night and Saturday morning. So someone was helping him.

But who?
