Masson said the incident occurred while Jesse was in rehab earlier this year. Janine called her daughter’s cellphone, which Sandra answered. Although Masson would not divulge the details of the conversation, he did say that it was not the first time Sandra had got nasty towards his client.

During the custody hearing Monday, one of Sunny’s teachers testified that Sandra had badmouthed Janine in front of her daughter, saying “Quite frankly, I’m glad Janine is in jail. She can go ruin someone else’s life.”

Janine is trying to stop Jesse from taking Sunny to Texas.
