Michael Lucas at QFest This Weekend

Philadelphia – Michael Lucas, founder of famed Lucas Entertainment, will stand before the ranks of QFest crowds Saturday, July 17th, to present his experiences in the porn industry, political activism, and the manifestation of his outstanding character at an event, Michael Lucas: Lip Service.

Growing up Jewish in Soviet Russia, Lucas faced bigotry early on, and homophobia later in graduate school. Always persistent, he relocated to Germany, then France, and finally New York before settling down and beginning his ever-expanding gay adult business.

Lucas Entertainment has produced some of the gay adult industry’s most successful titles, including adaptations of Dangerous Liaisons and La Dolce Vita, and Lucas’ Men of Israel epic. Having produced and also starred in many of Lucas Entertainment’s films, Michael Lucas is a gay adult maverick. He has been featured in countless publications, including The New York Times, The Advocate, and Butt Magazine, among seemingly infinite others.

Being recognized as the founder of one of the porn industry’s most successful companies is not Michael Lucas’ only claim to fame. His activism and outspokenness have landed him in the public eye numerous times. He has voiced strong opinions on controversial topics such as Islamic fundamentalism, drug use and unprotected sex in the gay community, Israel and anti-Semitism, and child pornography.

If you’re only used to seeing those luscious lips in hot action, prepare to be shocked and inspired by the man behind scenes. Lucas’ innumerable achievements inside and outside of the gay adult sphere will be recognized by himself and a troop of exclusive porn star models, live and in person. Join the admiring fans this Saturday as Michael Lucas shares how he transcended the worlds of pop culture, fashion, activism and politics, all while he keeps your mouth watering.

Michael Lucas: Lip Service will be held on Saturday July 17th, 9:45pm, at the Ritz East Theater 2
