Give it consideration is corporateese for “suck my duck”

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Playboy Enterprises Inc. said Thursday its board will give FriendFinder Networks Inc.’s bid for the company “appropriate consideration.” Earlier in the day, FriendFinder, the parent company of Penthouse Magazine, offered $210 million to acquire Playboy. On Monday, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner offered to take the company private in a deal that values the company at around $184 million.
