Los Angeles, CA – Adult Source Media, the most recognized brand in Adult Animation, is proud to announce they are the recipient of 3 GAYVN Award Nominations.

Adult Source Media’s groundbreaking 3D CGI Animation film, Pirate’s Booty, is nominated for Best Alternative Release, while ASM owner Wendy Crawford became possibly the first woman to receive a GAYVN nomination in the prestigious Best Director category. Adult Source Media also scored a nomination for Best Genre Website as well.

“I had always wanted to do a Gay 3D Animation film ever since I started ASM many years ago,” said Crawford.

“All of my Gay friends had been asking me to create something special and unique for the Gay market. The common theme I had heard from all of them was to make a film, which was fun, loaded with hot sex and would get the Gay community excited about seeing something truly original, so we took great efforts to hire a team of mostly Gay CGI artists.

Crawford expressed her gratitude to AVN for recognizing her freshman foray into the Gay genre. “We feel honored that the GAYVN committee appreciates adult companies that push the envelope and aren’t afraid to take risks.”

Crawford calls the recognition not just a great honor, but also a call to arms.

Said Crawford, “It’s up to us to make better movies. That is what will get consumers excited about porn again. Gimmicks don’t work anymore. It’s all about delivering innovative, quality product.
