LOS ANGELES — Pipedream’s Nick Orlandino replies to an earlier story in which Kim Kardashian’s attorneys are demanding that Pipedream Products cease and desist from using Kardashian’s “unauthorized likeness” on some of their products and advertisements- primarily a blow-up doll.
In a story reported on by www.xbiz.com, Pipedream’s Nick Orlandino said his lawyers would be contacting Kardashian’s and that his company did nothing wrong, though Orlandino conceded the doll may bare a slight resemblance to Kardashian.
“There’s no way they can tie this to copyright infringement because there is no copyright that has been infringed upon,” Orlandino told XBiz.
Orlandino said he has a model-signed release [the model on the box-cover], and has complied with all the laws.
