Sextoys.com Announces The First Annual Toys For Ta Tas Campaign

Philadelphia, PA – Sextoys.com, a leading online retailer of products for sexual health and well being, will be participating in Breast Cancer Awareness Month by donating $1 for each successful purchase during the month of October to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Sextoys.com is calling the campaign “Toys for Ta Tas,” but the goal is to provide more than a great reason to purchase toys, or just money to research. Sextoys.com will also dedicate space in its educational platforms to address prevention and detection of breast cancer.

“We’re known for our commitment to providing products for sexual health and well being,” says Bill Turner, Director of Content for Sextoys.com, “But we also want to demonstrate a commitment to help with a serious health issue that affects the lives of many of our customers – breast cancer.”

Susan G. Komen for the Cure was founded in 1982, and in its first 25 years, it gave 1.5 billion dollars of funding to breast cancer research and prevention. Its efforts have a global reach, with programs not only in the United States, but worldwide. Susan G. Komen for the Cure has a 4 Star rating with Charity Navigator, and an impressive goal to add yet another billion dollars to breast cancer research by 2017.

Turner adds, “This is a great opportunity for us to partner with our customers to help a cause that affects all of us. And it’s a great opportunity for consumers to use their purchasing power for good as well. Our combined efforts will raise awareness about breast cancer prevention and detection, and help people who need the cure.”

Sextoys.com will begin counting the purchases on October 1, 2010 through October 31, 2010. All successful purchases will add to the final donation.
