CINCINNATI, OH from www.fox19.com — The Cincinnati planning and buildings department has given approval to what is believed to be a Hustler Hollywood store in downtown Cincinnati.
In city documents, the business is referred to as only ‘HH.’ City Solicitor John Curp said in a memo dated Thursday to the city manager, mayor and council members that the city believes ‘HH’ is short for Hustler Hollywood.
It’s location at 1618 East 7th Street is also the same location that Jimmy Flynt told FOX19 that his brother, Larry Flynt, is trying to open a Hustler Hollywood store.
According to the memo, HH provided an inventory list that includes lingerie, swimwear apparel, accessories, glassware, novelties and general merchandise. Upon further inquiry, HH provided written representations that the proposed retail sales would not constitute an adult use as defined by Cincinnati Municipal Code.
Jimmy Flynt told FOX19 in August that his brother is trying to put him out of business. Jimmy Flynt has owned and operated the Hustler store on Elm near 4th Street for the past decade.
The brothers have been in business together as partners for 40 years. Jimmy said his brother has been going after him for the past year, trying to push him out of the family business.
Jimmy Flynt said there is a malpractice suit in Hamilton County, centering around a conflict over attorneys they’ve shared over the years.
