from www.chicagotribune.com – JACKSON, Mich. — A father and daughter in southern Michigan accused of using sex to extort money from a strip club patron have been charged.

The Jackson Citizen Patriot says 50-year-old David Allan was arraigned Wednesday on a single blackmail charge. Twenty-eight-year-old Jennifer Allan of Blackman Township was previously arraigned and faces the same charge.

Authorities say Jennifer Allan demanded several thousand dollars in cash after she had sex on Dec. 17 with a man she met while working at Dr. Don’s Famous Door. The man paid the money after Allan later threatened to falsely accuse him of rape.

David Allan is accused of assisting his daughter. Police say other victims are being sought.

Both suspects remain held at the Jackson County Jail. Police did not immediately know if they had lawyers.
