from www.nwfdailynews.com – A 39-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly attacking his wife and putting a gun to her head.

According to his Okaloosa County Sheriff’s arrest report, Walter Paul Kelly argued with his wife after she refused to have sexual intercourse with him.

Kelly grabbed a pistol and pushed the woman onto a bed. He also pinned the woman down by holding her arms on the mattress, the report said.

The man’s daughter went to a neighbor’s house to report that her father had pulled a gun on her mother.

Deputies saw redness on the woman’s upper arms consistent with her story.

Kelly was charged with aggravated assault and battery.
