from www.nesn.com – Football fans in New York, New Jersey and Illinois weren’t the only ones upset to see the Jets and Bears fall in their respective championship games over the weekend.

Rick’s Cabaret International Inc., which owns seven Dallas-Fort Worth area strip clubs, was expecting to make an additional $2 million in revenue, had the New York and Chicago teams met up in Super Bowl XLV on Feb. 6, according to Reuters.com.

“We estimate, worst case, it will be about an additional $1 million in revenue for us,” representative Eric Langan told Reuters prior to the AFC and NFC title matches last week. “But if we [had] a New York-Chicago Bears Super Bowl, then it [would have been] really big. We [would have been] as high as $2 million.”

Rick’s, which is based out of Houston, has 22 clubs overall.

“If the New York Jets are in the Super Bowl, you won’t be able to park a private jet in this city,” Langan said. “We’re pretty excited. It’s going to be a great Super Bowl either way.”
