VENICE, CA – As Jenna Haze prepares to line up her five trophies from the 2011 AVN Awards, she needs to make way for her latest magazine cover, too: Jenna is on the front of High Society’s April 2011 issue, which hits streets this week.
The issue also includes a feature on Jennaration X’s Cum Spoiled Brats, the series which just won the trophy for Best Young Girl Release at the AVN Awards.
“High Society has always been good to me,” Jenna said. “I think the cover is fantastic—the photo is a Jennaration X original, so you know it’s a pic that I love. And to include a feature on Cum Spoiled Brats is perfect timing after the win at the AVN Awards. The timing really worked out for everyone on this one.”
And now for something completely different, this week she will appear in the Naughty Show at the Hollywood Improv, a popular night spearheaded by comic Sam Tripoli. The show, which is this Thursday (Jan. 27), begins at 10 pm and will also feature Julia Lillis (E! Entertainment), Josh Wolf (Chelsea Lately), Jen Murphy (Comedy Central), Jeff Richards (SNL) and others.
“This year I’ve decided to branch out and see what else is out there for me,” Jenna said. “In the past I’ve pretty much stuck to the adult world where I have been in my element. I’m ready to try some new things and when Sam called, I couldn’t resist.”
Following the Adult Entertainment Expo, Jenna press has started to roll in, and a feature in the Las Vegas Sun has garnered particular attention. In the article, titled “Jenna Haze takes charge in fight against adult film industry piracy,” she discusses at length the problem of piracy.
“For obvious reasons this is a very passionate subject for me,” Jenna said. “This is our business, how we make our money, and for people to steal it just isn’t right and something has to be done or it will destroy not just Jennaration X Studios, but the industry as we know it. Look how much it’s already changed just in the past few years.”
Another piece of press that has come out since AEE is CNBC’s list of the top—“Dirty Dozen”—adult stars, which ranked Jenna #2 and #1 among active performers.
At the XBIZ Awards, which will be held Feb. 9 at the Hollywood Palladium, Jenna is up for Performer of the Year, her JennaHaze.com website is up for Porn Star Site and Jennaration X Studios is nominated for Gonzo Studio of the Year and Sexual Blacktivity 2 is in the running for Interracial Release.
