from www.nydailynews.com – A diminutive handyman at a Manhattan building has huge problems with the boss who belittled him as a “midget.”

Juan Pablo Pichardo claims in a lawsuit that his supervisor at a posh E. 76th St. building decorated his locker with pictures of dwarfs and talked down to him with the politically incorrect nickname.

The supervisor, Moises Guimet, was a big meanie, the suit charges, who delighted in smacking Pichardo on the head.

Management at the building, The Eastmore, ignored Pichardo’s gripes, shooting down his requests for a transfer, the papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court charge.

“The management has not done anything to stop these actions despite…complaints of discrimination and the conduct had continued unabated,” the suit says.

The suit says the Queens handyman “performed his job responsibilities in an exemplary manner at all times” and accuses Guimet and building owner Rose Associates of subjecting him to discrimination and a “hostile work environment.”

Guimet, who did not return calls, also is accused of superimposing a picture of Pichardo’s head onto a photo of a baby’s body and displaying porn that insulted the handyman’s Christian faith.

“Mr. Guimet has also slapped [Pichardo] on the head on several occasions and refers to him as a midget,” the suit says. It does not specify Pichardo’s height, but residents of the building said he was about 5 feet tall.

Adam Rose, the president of Rose Associates, did not return a call. At Pichardo’s home in Woodhaven, Queens, his wife told reporters he wasn’t up to discussing the suit.
